Congratulations to nine Roosevelt students (and one of their peers from Lincoln) who are heading to the nation’s top speech and debate tournament after last weekend’s National Tournament Qualifier at Okoboji High School. Local 5 and Bankers Trust are excited to congratulate Roosevelt High School teacher Emily Bollinger as this month’s One Classroom at a Time grant winner.
Starting this week, middle and high school students will be asked to review one new menu item each month. It’s a new program the Central Nutrition Center hopes will engage students in a discussion about nutrition and taste. Pictures may also be delivered to the main office to be placed in Mr. Cundiff’s mailbox.

Blue concert is Feb. 19th 7:00p.m. in the Auditorium
White concert is Feb. 24th 7:00p.m in the Auditorium
Each concert features performance by the Band, Orchestra and Vocal Departments.
Nominated student must turn in their nomination packet to the school’s designated contact person, Tascha Brown, School Improvement Leader by THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2015 by 4pm. No late forms or letters are accepted as the selection committee has to convene and then the packets need to be mailed to the National Organization by the February 20, 2015.
