DMPS Tests Message Systems on November 20

On November 20th at 2:30 PM a test message will be sent to parents/ guardians in one of five ways: Telephone, Text message, Email, Infinite Campus mobile app, and/or Infinite Campus parent portal. Riders create artwork for Philanthropy Awards

The Central Iowa Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) announced the 2014 Philanthropy Day award winners last summer. The annual awards recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the quality of life in central Iowa. A select number of Roosevelt Students created artwork for each award recipient.

Hawks and Clones Gain Roosevelt Standouts

Congratulations to Roosevelt High School’s Meredith Burkhall on signing to play Women’s Basketball at ISU and Roosevelt’s Aaron Wirt for signing to play Men’s Golf at the University of Iowa. They had a well-attended signing ceremony at the school today. Go Hawks! Go Clones!

Roosevelt’s Megan Schott won the Class 4A Girls’ State Cross Country Championship this morning in Ft. Dodge! Megan is the second Rider and third DMPS student to win a girls’ XC state title

Our scrolling calendar to the right lets you know if we have student events.  But if you want the up-to-the minute details of sports teams, what time and where, go to the ATHLETICS tab on the menu bar above and select “Schedules”.  You can also get information about the CIML events at www.cimlcentral.org.


Senior Events and Information

Graduation is May 23, 2015!  Check out college information under the Academics tab on the menu bar above (Academics > Counseling > Counseling PLC).  Transcript request forms are under the STUDENT tab– first 5 are free with an addressed stamped envelope; $2 per transcript after request number 5.  A Seniors information folder is located under the Student tab.  Forms for college visits, the senior calendar , deadline infomation,  important announcements for students and families for the Class of 2015 will be posted under the Student tab as it becomes available.  Check regularly!
